About us
In order to implement sustainability and the 2030 Agenda, we need the collective efforts of everyone. Startups, companies, organisations, citizens' initiatives, and associations all play an important role in raising awareness and co-creating our sustainable future.
The Global Goals Directory supports cities and municipalities to activate organisations, companies and startups for the 2030 Agenda and to measure their contributions to the SDGs. Specifically, we offer an ecosystem assessment where we identify these various actors (organisations, initiatives, companies, and startups) and determine for each actor their individual contribution to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The use of artificial intelligence, web scraping, and natural language processing allows us to capture a broad cross-section of the ecosystem while keeping the manual workload and costs comparatively low.
We are a five-person team of SDG experts and developers who joined forces in 2019 to support cities and municipalities in Germany in implementing the 2030 Agenda. Our speciality is big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing related to the SDGs.
